Mr. Mayuya said Government had allocated K400, 000 to the electrification project through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
Mr. Mayuya said the development was a great achievement to the people of Chitina and would help accelerate business in the area.
Mr. Mayuya explained that the surrounding areas are likely to also benefit from the electrification project because the transformer would be installed between Chief Chitina’s palace and Chitina Primary School.
“This is a great achievement for the people of Chitina and Nkumbi Ward. The development will bridge the gap between the urban and rural community. We are very happy about the development,” Mr. Mayuya said.
