GREEN Eagles Football Club head coach Aggrey Chiyangi says that he has no immediate plans of leaving the club in view of his role as acting national team coach.
This is so because he has a running contract with the Zambia National Service-sponsored outfit in Choma.
Chiyangi however says that it is up to the people at the top to keep him as a coach.
He was speaking to journalists in Choma over the weekend when his team defeated Power Dynamos with 3-1 in a week five fixture which was played at Independence Stadium. Chiyangi said the role he is playing as coach at the national team does not affect his duties at Eagles.
And Chiyangi is optimistic that Eagles will pick up pace in the league despite starting on a slow note.
Chiyangi said that the win over Power Dynamos is important because Eagles have some catching up to do.
He paid tribute to his players for working hard and ensuring that the team collected maximum points.
The team will this weekend travel to Solwezi to play Lumwana Radiants and will be without Chiyangi as he is travelling to Benin with the national team.
