A LIST of teachers, mostly from outside Lusaka, suspected of leaking the examination papers resulting in postponement of Grade seven and nine and 12 examinations, has been given to Minister of General Education David Mabumba.

Mr Mabumba said during a ZNBC interview yesterday that the suspects were identified following investigations launched last week after grade nine mathematics paper 2 was leaked and published on social media.

Sources have told the Daily Nation the teachers on the list were mostly from remote areas.

Mr Mabumba warned that those found would be dealt with accordingly adding that the investigations were continuing.

He said he could not disclose more details, saying he would issue a comprehensive Statement tomorrow at his office.

On Tuesday, Government suspended Grades Seven, Nine and 12 examinations following the exam leakage.

There has been rampant examination malpractice this year with some leaked exam papers being freely shared on social media.
