MUCHINGA Province has selected its four club officials who will represent the province at the much anticipated Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) annual general meeting (AGM) to be held on April 13 in Lusaka.
During a provincial conference at the Chinsali District Resource Centre, the delegates selected Chola Chilufya from Zesco Chinsali, Tazara FC’s Amos Ngosa, Isoka Young Stars’s Israel Sichali and Durham Chibuye from Simpamba FC as its representatives for the AGM.
According to the FIFA aligned FAZ Constitution, provinces will elect delegates although in the transitory period the representatives have been selected by an agreed criteria by the affiliates.
Meanwhile, Northern Province conference selected its four candidates to represent them at the 2019 annual general meeting.
During the provincial conference at Wamulungwe Lodge the delegates selected Emmanuel Munaile from Mungwi Young Chelsea FC, Mwansa Kapyanga from Kasama United Youth Academy, David Mbulo from Lwansase FC and Abercon Breweries FC’s Beauty Namwawa.
The Chinsali Muchinga conference brings the number of provinces that have picked delegates for the April 13th meeting to three.
The first province to select its representatives was Luapula Province which selected Joseph Mwale from Pambashe Tigers, Michael Mumba from Samfya Rockets, Chipembe Polic’s Mweemba Mujala and Martin Chuma from Luapula FC).
FAZ Vice President Rix Mweemba Rix Mweemba has urged members to stick to the constitution when addressing grievances.
