PF ready for Mushundamo

The Patriotic Front in Mushindamo district says it is ready for the forth coming local government by election in Kalilele ward.
Meanwhile, the party has expressed confident of scooping the seat.
PF district chairperson John Kachiza told the Daily Nation in an interview that the party has done all the ground work for the by election.
Mr Kachiza said the people in the area now have confidence in the party owing to the development government has brought in the area.
“I can confirm that We are very much ready as a party for tge the forthcoming local government by election I Kalilele,” Mr Kachiza said.
He disclosed that the party has commenced the process of identifying a possible candidate.
“So far a number of people have shown interest in contesting. But what we want is to look for a marketable candidate, someone who is going to win us the seat,” he said.
And Mr Kachiza stated that the ruling party was poised to scoop the seat.
He said the party has gained popularity and people now have confident in it.
“The issue of saying that Mushindamo is a bedroom for the opposition is no longer there. We have made head ways and we are very confident that we are going to emerge victorious,” he said.
The Kalilele ward fell vacant following the resignation of the UPND councillor Jacob Mulikita.
