ORLANDO Pirates will prepare adequately to ensure they beat Green Eagles to remain in the CAF Champions League race says coach Milutin Sredojević.

Speaking after Pirates were beaten 1-0 at Nkoloma Stadium in Saturday’s preliminary round first leg tie, Sredojević said his team still had 90 minutes to make things right.

He said failure to concede despite dominating the game in all departments cost the team victory.

“Our chances of progressing to the next round are realistic. We have to put up a good field performance at Orlando Pirates with an intention to score more than two goals,” he said.

Eagles coach Aggrey Chiyangi said the team have a mammoth task to finish off the game in Soweto, so the side still had a lot of preparation to do.

“We will not go to Orlando Pirates to park the bus but to complete the task. We have to work hard in defence as we expect them to increase pressure in the return leg,” Chiyangi said.

Pirates will welcome Eagles in the second leg on August 23.
